I live in Colorado and 15 round mags are all that is currently allowed. This is the ONLY 15 round .223 magazine I could find.
Also, being polymer construction, it is relatively easy to make minor modifications to....such as rounding off edges etc. I use a Victorinox knife and an emery board. They are also easy to apply gun skins to, although they work best when cut around the horizontal band on the magazine. Also, much lower profile than 10 round magazines in a 30 round body.

I am a gunsmith, in NJ. Yes, NJ. Only 15 round magazines are legal, and Thermold magazines are the only magazines that I sell to clients, because they function in every rifle I throw them into. Plus the customers love the low-profile of them.
