These work for SR-25 magazines as well

I've been using these handy devices for loading FN SCAR and FAL magazines for several years and I have been very pleased with their function and light weight. I recently had occasion to look for strip-loaders for SR-25 plastic magazines and discovered (to my delight) that these MC-FN/FAL/5 loaders also work perfectly with SR-25 pattern plastic magazines as well (something that the old steel FN FAL loaders won't do). I immediately ordered three more just for SR-25 mags. They work great with a nice snug fit

I've been using these for quite some time with FAL and SCAR17 mags and they work great. I recently tried them on some LR-308 SR-25 pattern mags and I discovered that they are also good for those SR-25 plastic mags as well. Fit is pretty snug on the mags so I ordered some more specifically for my SR-25 mags and I intend to make them a tiny bit larger where they contact the mag at the rear so they are easier to slip on and use. They will work without modification but they are pretty tight at the front & rear.

This loader is significantly lighter than the metal FAL mag loaders that I usually use. It seems well made and works very well with FN SCAR17 steel mags as well as Thermold and other polymer magazines for SCAR17. Fit to magazine is perfect, while fit to the ammunition is a bit tight at the cartridge case necks and at the cartridge case base as well. I expect that this will become less tight over time, but after loading four 5-rnd strippers in each of more than 50 magazines (that's more than 200 strippers of ammo) I can say that it hasn't become less tight, so it may take a while to loosen up. The loader accepts both US M14 strippers and Swedish 6.5x55 strippers equally well and is not too loose with the slightly smaller M14 strippers and not too tight with the slightly larger Swedish strippers. I am completely satisfied with everything except the price. $9.95 seems a bit steep when the steel FAL loaders can be had like-new for about $3 bucks.
